I know its a subject that has been done to death but be honest could you have walked by?

I'm a sucker for the obvious shot!

I like them. I have to take the obvious shots. I don't have a big portfolio and am learning everyday. Plus, each shot a person captures is different and special in its own way.

    Thanks for sharing,
  3. I'm with Patrick, those shots are cool and that's why they are so popular.
  4. Great job on these two Chaz...I really like them especially in b/w.

    Thanks for sharing,
  5. there is no shame in these. your vision is different than those before you and appreciated for it's originality. These are great images

One thing about classic shots is that it gives you a benchmark against the huge history of photographs that have come before. Yous holds (especially #1 - with those light grasses in front of the boat) up well!
  7. That's the beauty of being a photographer, you notice such things. Hundreds of people walk by but your the one who captures to great shots.

Yet again, thanks very much to everyone for the nice comments and for making me think of these shots in a different way.
