These are full frame shots EXIF attached.
Great catches! I especially like #2. Tack sharp and nice composition.
Gary, these are quite nice. You sure get the variety of shots, good stuff.
I didn't get out long today as had chores to do.
Did you not like my butterflies yesterday?
I had chores to do today and gave the Eagles the day off. I just shoot what I see and like and I post a variety of shots because I don't want to get into a rut. Like only Eagles, Osprey or Butterflies.
Nice shots Gary. I sure hope that we have decent weather this weekend. It just kills me when we have such great weather during the week, and then get yuck on the weekends.
They are predicting a Dandy weekend.
Gary How did you get to 700mm? Did you shoot with a 500MM + a 1.4 on the 20D? Great speed at F8 and if that was the rig they must have been a fair distance. I would think this set up could be a bit sharper if that was what you used unless you had great distance or used another set up with TEs on a smaller lens. You sure get some nice blue skys there.
That is Full frame It won't take anything closer without clipping wings.
That is a 500/4 and a 1.4 TC on a pretty day.
OK Thanks Gary Do you have a 1dm2 or just the 20D. Reason I ask besides my Nikon stuff I shoot with that lens (500/4 IS) and when I use my 20D I found that anything coming stright at me was trouble for the 20D to lock on but the 1dm2n was like a missle locking on and I could see a great difference in the sharpness between the two.
I have a 20D canon and am going to get the Mark 3 when released.
