A couple of vacation pics

  1. Took my "light" kit with me to Orlando a couple of weeks ago. I used my D70 with my least expensive lens a Sigma 70-300 APO super macro II. I used the super reala curve shooting in jpeg. These shots were re-sized and sharpened for the web.

Hope you like them. I was way out of my comfort zone using the D70 and shooting jpeg. Sorta fun.
  2. The colors and sharpness are very good,

Our frequently seen flowers. Hope you had a good time in FL.

    Nice shots and pretty color.

  5. Thanks Gale, I had no idea what the second flower was. My family and I had a great time at Universal Studios. I got a kick out of staying at the Hard Rock Hotel. My youngest daughter couldn't believe that Dad new the names of all those old rock and roll songs! ;)

I limited myself to one camera body and 2 lens, the Sigma and my trusty Nikon 50mm f/1.4. The D70 with the 50mm is a very light yet versatile set up.
