Frank, ChrisK and I went to the Guntersville dam yesterday in hopes of getting some new GBH shots. the weather didn't cooperate most of the day but still had some good action later once the sun brightened things up a bit.

No crop top or bottom Just barely got him centered

Excellent shots Greg. I see that yours have the same 'overcast' flat colors that mine do. Nothing like direct sunlight to get bright colors. All in all though, I had a decent day, and it was definitely fun getting out for a few hours, and shooting with you and Chris.

I'll try to get some of mine up in a little while.

OMG that first on is out of this world..

Fantastic stuff Greg. All of them are great.

I sure am jealous. I am just to slow for the flying stuff. :<(((((((( cry, cry , cry.

For flat or dull you can always use a bit of PWL in PS.. Flew here is a great link....

Have a read.. You will love it. :>))) Stirring the pot....

However, I am not saying these are flat or dull.. They are all beautiful and would be proud to have just one.

It was just Flew who mentioned it, for his pics.

Now Flew since when did you ever post a flat dull image ..huh huh....
  4. The first one is outstanding!

Believe me, Greg did a great job with these shots (I'm with you, the first is a classic), but the light was just flat, flat, flat. We even had to jump in the trucks for about 30 minutes to wait out a downpour. That we got any shots, especially shots this good was a miracle. 8)
  6. I am impressed by # 1. It's a completly new point of view for me at least, and technically well done.

Thanks all, #1 is my fav as well. Reminds me of the monsters in the original Beastmaster movie.

I had some in the sun but they all appeaered blown out and to contrasty. I may work on those today if I get a chance.

Also hope we see some of Chris's soon as well.

And as usual I expect to see some from Frank that are perfect.
  8. Hi Greg and congratulations on some really nice shots. I too like #1 the best.

Looks like they came out pretty well. I like the first one too. Was that a 'top barrel' or 'bottom barrel' shot?

I've gotten mine PPed. Hopefully I'll get them posted tomorrow.
