A Dozen Images from Palouse

Discussion in 'Landscapes, Architecture, and Cityscapes' started by gnagel, Sep 6, 2017.

  1. I was looking for something to photograph on the drive from Kalispell, Montana to Crater Lake, Oregon. Fortunately, I came across the Palouse region of eastern Washington. Although I was only there for just over a day, I enjoyed my stay and hope to return some day.

  3. These are all beautiful, Glenn, but I especially like #4. The silo sets it off, but even the utility poles add points of interest.

  4. Thanks wembley
Thanks Jim...I liked that the lighting in #4 is more subtle, yet still colorful.

  5. Oh my--it's always a treat to see your work, but to see my home through your eyes, and lenses, now that is the best of the best!

  6. Thanks so much, Nick...I take it as high compliment when a person who lives in the area enjoys the photos!

Wonderful shots Glenn, really liked 4,5,8,9 & 10, especially 4.

  8. Beautiful images, Glenn. I really want to go there soon.

  9. Wonderful series Glenn, I love them all. What a fortuitous stop on your trip and with your talent you have captured them all well. I like the way the grain silo's stand out as sentinels in the landscape.

  10. The colors are so wonderful in these. Hard to pick favorites but I like the rolling hills a lot.

  11. Thanks again, Rick
    Thank you, Howard
    Thanks Gordon
    Thank you, Allan

Nick, we need to put up signs at the butte, X miles to Nick's place, and have a little map on the sign. They'll show up in droves.

Fantastic shots Glen. We used to go there on vacation when I was growing up, I need to get back there with my camera.

  16. Yeh, there goes my wine cellar

    You most certainly do!

  17. Exceptional Glenn. Every one a winner. I'm jealous. And what a great place Nick and Rick live in!

  18. Thanks James...it's definitely worth the trip.
Thank you...and yes, they do live in a very photogenic location!
