A few at the Botanical Garden

Discussion in 'Annual Alabama Sessions' started by Frits, Apr 4, 2007.

  1. Shooting flowers is not my thing, but I try...(improvised with some unlikely lenses, I don't have a macro  - had one, but it was wasted on me).

Near where we had lunch (in those hanging flower pots  ):

    Saltillo, Ms
Who needs a macro when you can improvise like that! Great shots.

Cool perspective on the dogwood, Frits!

Be careful though...you might be suprised how hard that "macro-bug" bites!

    Nicely improvised Frits.
  5. great view on these!
  6. Beautiful, Frits! My favorite is the one of the yellow flowers in the hanging pots! All are nicely done and a tribute to your considerable photographic skills. You do exceptionally well with people, but you also have now shown you do just great with flowers and birdies, too!

...and ALL with manual lenses, too, a not-inconsiderable achievement!
  7. OH WOW, FRITS! Just simply beautiful! Of course the dogwood is my favorite! Gorgeous!!!!!!!
