I have been swamped lately with work and family commitments, I was able to walk down and shoot a few innings of my local H.S. teams.
Here they are. All shot with the D3 and the 300 2.8 some with the 1.4 tele.

stellar Mike...
Thanks Chris
Very nice! Number 3 is one of the best closeup sliding shots I've seen in quite a while.
Thanks Randy I was pleased to get this
Awesome. Great color and exposure. The kids faces are terrific!
Thanks Kevin
Ahh, sweet, sweet bokeh that you can get from the 300 and the FX cameras...wonderful!
Thnaks Dave it is a great combo for baseball, only thing better would be a 200-400 for baseball
nice. I like the two softball shots the best.
Thanks Steve

Hey Mike,
Tack sharp and beautiful as usual, I guess you're gonna have to get out more often now that you've "finally" figured this sports photo thing out eh?

I hope I never miss any of your threads. Always a real inspiration for me. Finally got some outdoor stuff booked, been a slow start to Summer sports work. Now I have something to set the bar at... all incredible, well timed, well composed shots with fantastic Mikey Mack eyes.
