  2. great series
    that last one is awesome
#2 is my favorite, if the horizon were a bit straightened

    very, very nice
thanks for sharing these with us
  3. Frank, nice series. What a great preview for my trip  I know the fog was unwanted, but it does add a certain mood (pun intended ) to the shots. I really like the 2nd and 3rd shots a lot.

yah, I don't mind the fog Rich
just didn't make for too many sunrise shots

thanks Greg , I will revisit that bar harbor shot and straighten it, thought it was...LOL
  5. In spite of the fog I think you took advantage of weather conditions and it reflects in your beautiful photographs.
Nothing wrong with No. 1. I like the mood. No. 2 could not be better and it is a beautiful sunrise. Nothing wrong with No. 3 either except that for my taste I would have burned-in slightly the rocks in the foreground, to tone down the brightness and make the view more pleasant to the eye.
I liked the picture of the leaves very much since that is one of my favorites subjects.
I really believe you did very well.

  6. Wonderful series. It makes me pine (no pun intended) for my east coast home (Cdn not American).

    thanks Patti and William

I agree William, the rocks are a bit washed out, thanks to the midday sun
I will re-PP it at some point and darken the rocks

A great series of shots. Seems to me you captured the feel of the park quite well, as it is often foggy.
  9. Breathtaking! Where was #1 shot from?

Absolutely fantastic photos! I noticed in your signature you used a D50. The reason I asked is because I love my D80 which I am still learning, and was thinking of going up to the D300. But nix that! I will be instead purchasing some prime lenses in the next few months! Thankyou!
