My wife and I recently made a baseball trip to NYC. We saw a Yankees and a Mets game before both teams moved to their new stadiums. We ended up paying 10x face value at Yankee Stadium for the second to last row of the non-alcoholic section.

I had to pay a visit to B&H, and, needless to say, I was amazed by the efficiency of the store. I only ended up buying a replacement hood. Quite a cool place!

I took along my 18-70 and Sigma 70-300, which was used for the shot of ARod at bat. I just got a 17-55, which I wish I had for the trip.

There is a waterfall installation between Manhattan and Brooklyn. Here are two shots from Manhattan looking towards Brooklyn taken right next to the Brooklyn Bridge. Without a tripod I had to prop my camera on a t-shirt:

One from our seats at Shea Stadium - the new stadium can be seen behind left field:

Nice shots - I too like the bridge shots.
