A few from Norway with the Repro-Nikkor

Discussion in 'Macro, Flowers, Insects, and Greenery' started by AFS, Sep 11, 2008.

  1. Well, I'm finally going to start posting a bit of my stuff from my Norway expedition back in May.

A recent post about the Repro-Nikkor has given me the incentive to process a few shots with it from the trip.

    D3, ISO 100, 1/8000s f/1.4 Repro Nikkor 85/1.0

    D3, ISO 200, 1/8000s f/1.2 Repro Nikkor 85/1.0

    D3, ISO 100, 1/3200s f/1.4 Repro Nikkor 85/1.0

    D3, ISO 200, 1/8000s f/1.2 Repro Nikkor 85/1.0

    D3, ISO 100, 1/8000s f/1.2 Repro Nikkor 85/1.0

One of my personal faves...Take me to your leader!

    Thanks for looking, comments welcome.

Wow, some really unique stuff here Harrison.

I've heard very little about the repro-Nikkor before now, let alone seen any images taken with it.

The lens produces some pretty interesting images, thanks for showing them.

Was hoping you'd post some more from your trip Harrison, and these are lovely love the bear-ish rendition, beautiful.
  4. Thanks for the comments, there will be more soon once I catch up on economics web-lectures for my test on monday. It was certainly fun traveling with Bjørn, a unique experience to be sure. The lens options let me just pick the way I wanted to shoot and run with it, too.

The repro is certainly not an easy lens to work with.
