thanks Steve and John. Our dog is always to scared to play with the other dogs. When she was a pup she was attacked by another dog (won't say what kind). It's been a few years now and she is still scared most of the time. So we just take her to the park to try and get used to dogs again.

I know what you mean, my bigger dog was running and playing hard with dogs until one got all pushy and a bit nippy; she is cautious still and does not play tag when there are lots of dogs around. But one on one, she loves to jump around and play chase now. I don't even bring my 10 year old to the park, I don't think he would enjoy the atmosphere.
