I wil one day submit a cricket set with nothing but technical statements!! (missed this Summer though). Footy! er sorry Soccer starts again next week:biggrin:.

I won't be able to show you my work this year Steve!, as I've cancelled my Flikr pro account due to the absalute crap uploading/viewing speeds since Yahoo bought it out. Graham, mate! I'm trying SOOOO hard to get you to know a few Baseball terms and the game, I don't think it's working

High leg kick, well, you just gotta look at the pictures! :smile:
Double play, getting two outs on one "play" where the ball is put "into play" on the field.
Splintered bat, well, the bat was broken when he swung and hit the ball, this time the ball didn't go "into play" but went into "foul territory". "In play" is between the lines that define the infield, they run outwards from home plate (where the batter stands) through first base and third base (the "corners" of the infield, which is a square that is 90ft on each side) and all the way to the fences on the field.
