Went to the Zoo today, here are some of my faves. All were taken with D300 & Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8.

    Jellyfish taken @ 3200 ISO - D300 rocks!
    NIKON D300    ---    70mm    f/2.8    1/50s    ISO 3200

    NIKON D300    ---    200mm    f/2.8    1/200s    ISO 200

    NIKON D300    ---    200mm    f/2.8    1/500s    ISO 400

    NIKON D300    ---    165mm    f/2.8    1/250s    ISO 400

    NIKON D300    ---    200mm    f/3.2    1/2500s    ISO 400

    Taken @ 2200 ISO
    NIKON D300    ---    112mm    f/2.8    1/320s    ISO 2200

Again @ 2200 ISO no noise reduction, it was very dim indoors in the African pavillion. The Sigma showing some nice bokeh :)
    NIKON D300    ---    200mm    f/2.8    1/320s    ISO 2200

    NIKON D300    ---    200mm    f/2.8    1/200s    ISO 280

    NIKON D300    ---    135mm    f/2.8    1/400s    ISO 200

That strange distortion pattern at the top is from the fencing
    NIKON D300    ---    200mm    f/3.2    1/125s    ISO 200

The rest is here -> http://www.flickr.com/photos/willy_chan/sets/72157607068723803/

Arg, I noticed that flickr is recompressing these jpegs, they were much sharper before I uploaded them :(
  2. The D300 does indeed rock.

I like the last one best but with the top yellow cropped.

I was wondering how the Sigma 2.8 compares to the Nikon.

The only thing i hated was the fencing on the wolf exhibit. I wanted a wolf shot so bad but found it impossible
