I love the anhinga shot sir....they are really neato birds...and sand hill cranes are one of my favorites as well. How big are the little cranes getting to be these days?
  3. Re: Harris

earlier today I saw a pair but no babies. I havent seen the babies in a couple weeks. When Steve S visited weeks ago, we saw an older chick:

but this was a different family than the ones I shot a month or so ago. Too big to be that one.

Nice shots Harris. I still don't have any good Sandhill shots. Maybe in June.

I really like the Anhinga too. One of my favorite birdies.

  5. Really nice images Harris, like the others my favorite is the Anhinga.

Were these shot at the boat dock?

Good, clear, crisp shots, Harris! Is this marsh area the same place as the boat dock you were telling me about?
  7. Re: Were these shot at the boat dock?

No, this marsh is the cutoff road behind the HomeDepot on US1 by your new house. Just 5 minutes from your front door.
  8. Nice shots Harris!! :D  :D  :D  I like your first shot the best!! :D  :D

Would that be the Slauson Cutoff, Carson was so famous for?

 Hey that's great, nothing like a target rich environment practically right outside your door! Been thinking about nothing but the transition to spending the winter in Fla ever since I went down there.
  11. What a sweet set of shots love the first one it is fantastic
