A few of the fungi I managed to photograph on Saturday morning. It's still very dry here at the moment, although we're getting some nice rain today.

Such interesting photos. My favorites are 3, 5, 8, and 11.

Really nice shots.

A beautiful set, and nicely composed, 3 is dainty beauty and 4 is the winner, totally unique to me. Well done.

  1. What a wonderful set. #s 1 and 5 clearly say, "Don't eat me" in multiple languages!!

Great set!

Wow, beautiful photos.

That's a beautiful set of fungi. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be #5, but they are all spectacular.

Great variety of fungi...excellent shots.

Wow ... really cool

Thank you all for your kind comments, I'm glad you like them?

Coming back for another look, the lighting is very nice, did you do anything special to light them?

Early morning light was all I used. I usually prefer to photograph fungi and native orchids early in the morning. Most of these are 1~5 second exposures using a tripod and remote trigger.

Very cool set of images. They look almost unreal If they were full-sized, I'd think they were made for an Alice in Wonderland movie. Good job photographing these.
