Mike,
excellent work, whoa that bottom photo is razor sharp! beautiful.
I still haven't gotten a sig 500 yet, some say the dg model really isn't worth
the extra money.

Love the composition of both images but, the sharpness on the second image is stunning and I like the results from the rain. That lens is super sharp nice work Michael!

Cheer,

Ray

Thanks!

Need I say I was impressed with the Sigma 2.0 APO DG EX teleconverter... totally outside of my expectations.

Very nice portraits. The first one has such a clear bg and the second's bg adds so much to the shot.

Allan, I toyed with "fixing" the BG on the first since comments were made that it was distracting.. but I decided it made a better image with it as shot..

A few others of the juvi..

Thanks Ray...

I was a click away from buying a 500... and not to say it wouldn't produce better results, I decided to wait and replace my non-DG EX Tc with the better EX-DG...and the results speak for themself..

The 300 is super sharp.. and it is my opinion that the 2x TC produces outstanding results!! 500/4.5 versus 600/5.6..a decent compromise. Saved myself a ton of money!!

Nice Shooting Mike the First is Made by the Great Bg!!! Very Well done!!

Thank you Gary.. see my response to Allan.. I actually had a few negative responses to the bokeh and color on that images BG.. I decided to leave it as shot..

Michael,
I have been literally shocked, suprised and extremely well pleased with the results I get using the Sigma 2x on a 120-300 2.8, its startling, infact some people have called it the poor mans 600, I never attempted to use a 2x on my nikon 300 2.8vr lens. go figure. lolol
see link from earlier today.
Thanks, keep up great work,
Kevin P.
