My work schedule is still keeping me close to home so my yard/neighborhood is where I do my photographing right now. I'm still enjoying it even though I only see the normal visitors.

Her left foot seems to be giving me a subtle message about having her photograph taken.

Like eagles, I will never tire of photographing these beauties.

Haven't seen many of these this year.

This pair was nice enough to pose for a second before deciding they hated each other. These things are mean!

    Hidee-hidee-ho, hidee-hiddee-hum....

    Yeah, right.

I love shooting in my back yard, and for the same reasons that you have listed. Hard to get away, and some pretty neat subjects as well. This particular set is simply excellent.
  9. Nice series. Great light and sharp. Great stuff.

    Thank you Gale.

You are welcome anytime but you would be severely disappointed. Just the regulars come around during the summer.

Thanks Dave. My wife would love to do that to me but she is too sweet thank goodness.

Thank you very much! These were all taken with a 300/4 and 1.4 converter. I typically shoot in AV mode and apply compensation as necessary.

    Thanks Gary.

Thanks Frank. The yard has held my interest longer than usual this year.

    Thank you!

Thanks for looking in Frank, I appreciate it.
