A Few Missouri Reptiles

With school out for the summer (I actually have workshops to attend Thursday and Friday) I finally was able to make it out for a reptile safari.

1. 6-lined Racerunner. These are very nervous and seldom sit still ... unless hidden in vegetation!

2. Box Turtle. The 3-toed box turtle is known for being quite bland in coloration. I discovered a part of the state back in the 1990s where they are not bland.

4. Eastern Fence Lizard. Female first, then a male.

First and last for me too but they are all good...! :smile:
Thanks, William. Sounds funny, but the turtle photos were the most difficult. They were taken in some very deep, dark woods and I was getting a little dehydrated from photographing the lizards which was causing me to vibrate the tripod a bit.
