First 2 were taken on the golf course I played with the kids. Amazing what you'll see down here in fla while golfing!

This is the bad Bald Eagle shot. Underexposed dark areas, and too much DOF with my 28-200G lens stopped down to f11, and -1/3 Ev Comp used. Was trying to hold the highlights, but have this annoying large DOF now. Still can't figure out that damn layer masking. Was going to blur the bg. Asked for help but it fell on deaf (U.F.)ears.

Nice shots Steve. I had the same problem with some of my Eagle shots, and it really is frustrating. What method do you use for sharpeneing? The reason that I ask is that the FM sharpening plug-in that I bought does a great job of sharpening while reducing noise. It has enabled me to post some shots that might have been too noisy otherwise.

All of them are very good. Looks like you have had a very enjoyable vacation.
