    These are beautiful images.

Wish you guys would quit knocking your images.

Nice shots Gordon. I know what you mean about processing.

  4. Hey Gordon, some nice bird shots you have here. I like the one with all the little birdies dozing off while sitting on the sand. My favorite is #3, it is clead well focused, good detail and good color.

Thanks Gale! I wasn't knocking my images. Just making fun of how slow I am at getting around to processing. Being out in the field is sooooooo much more fun. Hope you DSL is up and running soon. Must be driving you crazy.

Thanks Frank. If I could outsource my processing I would do it in a second! But then I would lose control of the process and that wouldn't be good. But it is sooo much more fun in the field.

Thanks Gordon. Can you believe how well those little guys blend into the sand? Can you ID? They were in the middle of a whole bunch of immature Black Skimmers of various stages of development, but the sure look like like some kind of plover to me. I like #3 too. The charge of the light brigade!

    Great job Gordon. I really love #3, 5 & 7.

I think the birdies in 7 & 8 are possibly Semipalmated Plovers (also in 1 as well, maybe). However, there's only one thing that can ever be guaranteed with my IDs and that is that Janet will come along and give the correct ID.

Thanks Neil. You guess on 7 & 8 looks reasonable. Janet - Are you out there?
