Previously I posted this thread on Angle's Landing over in the landscapes forum. Maybe should have put it here under travel. Or maybe this one should go in the landscape forum. At any rate here are a few more images from Zion.

1) Zion is great for dramatic lighting.

2) A couple of hikers contemplating the trail up Angel's Landing.

4) A shot inside the Virgin River canyon headed upstream.

5) A little farther upstream (and looking upstream). Caught a person in this one for a little sense of scale.

6) Farther up and looking back downstream at the same river bend.

Great set, Dan!!!! These are really special....
Thanks, Karen. It's a great area for photography.
What a superb set of pictures.

I enjoyed these.
Thanks, Nigel. Glad you enjoyed the images.
As good as they come! Bravo.
Thanks, Nick.
Fabulous series! I'll make a point of revisiting it when I have more time to enjoy it.
Glad you enjoyed them, Mike.

Hope you have a good time, Karl. If you're interested in the Condors the staff at the visitor center can probably tell you where they're hanging out. Not sure when they start nesting.
A beautiful place and beautiful images Dan. Thanks for sharing them Dan!
Thanks, Bill. It is a lovely area.

Now that I've had the luxury of revisiting the set and giving it the time it deserves, I come away thinking the same about #5 that I felt the first time -- that the small group of trees so nicely framed is so elegant and exquisite.
Thanks, Mike. I took several shots of the trees in the canyon. Given the regular floods that occur there it is amazing that they survive. And there is such a contrast with all of the rock around them.
I am surprised no snow this time of year.. .we were there Feb 2019 and there was a lot of snow.
I'd love to be there with a bit of snow.
Great set Dan, thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed them, Binnur.
