The small Rocky Mountain Regional Airport near my home had a modest air show over the weekend. Only one modern military jet was flying, so I shot mostly props and static aircraft.

Here's a sampling:

Thanks, Todd, Gale. It's amazing how in profile the B-2 almost disappears. But overhead it turns into a giant flying carpenter's square.

But the strangest thing was the air show itself. Sure it's a small local event, but last year there were a few F-16s and F/A18s that made it in and took a few turns for the crowd. This year we had one F-16 from the Colorado ANG on static display. But we got a B-2 making 2 passes....I think the crowd might have been happier seeing some fighters in the air. Maybe next year.
