My wife has had some medical issues lately, including a surgical lung biopsy and hospital stay, so I haven't had time to process much I've shot recently, but here are a few....
All captured with a D300, 500 AFS~VR and utilizing the NearUniWB preset.

    Goldfinch feeding on thistle...

    Downy woodpeckers on Common Mullen..

    Monarch on thistle..

Common Tern Chick returning to an evening dune roost..

Osprey with fresh caught menhaden tempting chicks to fly from the nest...

  2. Outstanding Set Jim!!!

the 500 makes for a great macro on the monarch...all of them great shots, but I really like the osprey. Do you have any with the osprey chicks?

I Have Lots of Osprey Chicks

Including one honest to goodness first flight which took me 6 hours of waiting to get.....I just need to get to them to process.

Now that my wife is out of the hospital and we have a visiting nurse assisting, hopefully I can find the time :)

Probably a good time to work with your computer than going out! Hope your wife will get better soon.

byw, what aperture were you using for the first shoot? It seems to have more DOF than I usually get.

Hope that everything goes well with your wife and she is on her way to recovery. She's more important than all the processing in the world at the moment.
