A few with the D200

Discussion in 'Birds' started by EdMac, Dec 22, 2005.

  1. This is the first oppurtunity to post a few pictures from the D200. I have been using the D100 for the past couple of years. The D200 is quite a camera. I am very pleased.

These House Finches were taken with the 80-400 VR on the D200

This Dark Eyed Junco was taken with the 80-400 VR

This Cardinal was taken with the 70-200 VR and the D200

Nice shots Ed. I know that you are going to enjoy that new cam.
  5. Nice Shots

    Hi Frank,
Thanks for your comments. These were just a few from my back deck to try out the D200 with the 80-400 and the 70-200. That second shot was hand held and highly cropped, so not so hot. The camera performs well with the 80-400 VR. It is much improved over the performance with the D100. I have yet to mount the 300 f2.8, but I am expected excellent performance.
Merry Christmas to you and your family.

    Hi Louis,

The sun is out, the sky is clear and the weather is cooperating. The only thing missing is the birds. I amgoing to try to get something in today.
  11. First Images

    Hi Gordon,
It is a great camera. I am glad that I waited. The D2X was tempting, but that is an awful lot of money for an old retiree lol:wink:
