Critique A "first" and a mishap that worked!

The first photo is my very first and only completely formed ring of tendrils disconnected from the jet and enclosing it. To put that in perspective, I've captured about 10,000 drop art photos.

The batteries in one of my flash units died during the session. Fortunately, I didn't notice for awhile and that mishap created the third and fourth photos.

I used various exposures in this session to create different looks, unlike in the past when I always used the same exposure during the entire session. The mixture I used created a very nice translucent appearance in parts of the formations.

In this case, you would have enjoyed licking up the droplets. The liquid is Half and Half.
