A gift from the birds

    I usually don’t mow around my bird feeders – I like to see what pops up from the seed the birds spilled. The results can sometimes be quite pleasant:smile:, like this member of the Asteraceae family.

    Beautiful picture...! Feels in some way a little sad...
    dont know why... and i think that the frame is a little bit to much...
    But its a beautiful photo!

    Thanks for looking and commenting, Daniel. I see some images framed in ways that complement the images, and I keep trying different styles. In most cases, any positive first impression gradually turns to neutral or negative. On the other hand, I think most images need something to "contain them" -- I just have not yet found the answer(s):redface:.

    Thanks Shep. There is such enormous variety in the sunflower family -- I think there's something for everyone.
