A glorious Sunday morning

I woke up early this morning and sat out on my deck for an hour before the day gets hot. When the sun got high enough in the sky for the first rays of the day to hit my flowers, I saw a photo opportunity I couldn't miss. Hope your day is beautiful, too!!

I love cool, still mornings. It was a wonderful 46 up here this morning at 5:30, and I had to break out a light fleece jacket . Just me, the squirrels, the robins and the occasional dog-walker out on the street.

I guess I better get out on my walk before it gets hot. Summer is so short. You have to enjoy every moment. Once winter comes 46 will seem like a heat wave!!

Yes, the cool nights and mornings are a gift. It was 55 here this morning at 6:00 a.m.
