Around $2K to spend:

Refurbished D800

D7100 plus 18-300 (for video)

EP5 kit plus 70-300 with my 40-150/14-42 a full system

My current lens (in profile) will all work with either choice 1 or 2

EP5 looks great but will Olympus drop cameras?

Going to take some time and think it over but what would you buy and why.

I image landscapes/cityscapes, wildlife, and macros - the stream video of #1 and #2 are important also.

D800. I hope to pick one up before the end of the year. Although, the results from the D7100 are very impressive. But if it was me, I'd go FX as I have been buying only FX since getting a D700. I just love the images FX produces.

Thanks for the replies,

Tom:

Lenses are: 300 afs f4 w/tc.14 & 1.7, 80-200 2.8 2 ring, Tamron 90, 24-85 D 2.8/4, and my only DX Nikkor 12-24 which I understand can be used from 18-24 on FX.

Another +1 for FX. It looks like you already have a pretty good range with your lenses and if you want to go with an FX WA zoom later (don't waste those 36MP!) you can sell the 12-24.
