One never knows when the Cedar Waxwings are going to turn up, but when there are berries around, the likely-hood goes up. So I went for a little stroll here in the estuary and came up on a wild cherry tree, and saw activity and was totally surprised when I saw three Cedar waxwings. But the D500,(manual exposure) 500 PF and TC14EII was ready. So I got a few, made my evening. All handheld.

A few years ago I had a flock of about 30 Cedar Waxwing's land in my back yard. It was amazing and the only time I have ever seen this bird where I live. Good capture.

Very nice Andreas. Beautifully captured.

We have a berry bush out back that typically attract the CWW's as they pass through, but we had no visitors this spring.
