A menacing stare down with mother Osprey

This was an early morning shoot of the female Osprey sitting atop of a dead tree watching over the chicks. She didn't seemed to be bother much by my presence, other than to give the evil eye.

I agree that it might not be the evil eye . . . after reading Bill's and Jim's replies, maybe she's just looking to see whether you're the shooter bringing her "appearance fees" - LOL.
