    Very interesting shots. Sure demonstrates the DOF with this lens. The last one looks to hot to handle. Made me break out in a sweat. :)

    I don't use my macro lens (180 Tamron) as much as my bird lens (300 2.8 Nikkor), but I sure do have fun with it. I went out to the truck this morning to load my gear, and saw the spider that often builds a web across my sidewalk, and I just had to get the 180 out and take a few shots before going in to work. :roll:
     
  5. Your shots are a very good exercise in learning to see and compose and will help you in the future with more complex composition. Keep at it.
     
  6. Really nice shots of some everyday things. Well seen and photographed. the D2X is serving you will. I like the red glow from the stove burner, I would have never thought of photographing that.
     
  7. Great series. I especially like the DOF.
