A Mockingbird on the beach

Discussion in 'Birds' started by EdMac, Jun 1, 2007.

  1. I was at the beach, and I noticed a Mockingbird running back and forth. These were taaken with my 80-400 VR on a tripod and my D200. Comments welcome as always.

  3. Hi Gale,
I believe it was gathering nest material. It was coming out on the beach and then flying back toward the woodland. I have seen them on most of the natural beaches around here. This is right on the edge of the Cape May NWR.
    Thanks for your comments.
