  1. Of course I had to go for a walk since I had the 17-55/2.8 to see what that baby could do...

    Well it does a'right...

It is very sharp and way above the 18-70 in terms of image quality it produces... but it lacks a little reach.

Pretty dran sharp but you'll need to get close to your subjects...

Not bad for indoor no flash photography, this lens will serve me well in Europe.

Great series! I enjoyed this very much. I tend to go the other way when off from work (where there are few or no people) but I am fascinated with this type of photography and you have a real talent for it.
  4. You have done my favorite lens proud. Very nice.
  5. Thanks Jim, I can't wait to try my hand at it in Chicago

Thank you Andy I try my best each and everytime.

Thank you Gordon, I like that lens, will take some time getting used to it I am left wanting for more reach however I like the results, I guess I'll just have to get closer to my subjects

  7. Enjoyed this very much too
Amazing church btw. Would normally think
the 17-55 too "long" for a shot like that!

Thank you, the church shot was easy I did it a few months back with the 18-200 VR and took the same picture with the 17-55, last row on the balcony with my back against the wall

Thank you, Montreal in the summer time is a pretty neat place

Thank you I mix it up a little to keep it interesting
  11. I'm not to keen on Montréal (too big a city for me)....but when I look your shots, it makes me want to go take another look! Nice work.
