A morning with Eagles

Discussion in 'Birds' started by Louis Champan, Feb 12, 2018.

  1. It doesn't get much better than being alone on the beach with a very active bunch of eagles. This was a super morning for me and my truck once again proved to be a super blind. All shot with a D500 & a 600mm/f4.

Superb work, Louie!!!! Excellent image quality, interesting poses....these images have it all!

It's obvious you should never get rid of that truck. The eagles think it's part of the beach!

Outstanding, you continually raise the bar. How much for your truck??

Louie: You continually raise the bar; no, you SET the bar when it comes to eagle images. Lighting, composition, exposure, etc., all the technical aspects are superb. But there is something else about your eagle images. You are imaging a predator and capture that "...in your face, don't mess with me" attitude that a predator - particular a top predator - has (and has to have to survive). Your eagle images so dramatically depict the "WILD" in wild creatures. Simply superb, Louie.
  18. I've been trying to find some photos where the Nikon600 f/4 is being used with a D500, guess I struck lucky here!
Fantastic photos, thanks for sharing them, please feel free to share more if you wish, lol.
  19. Outstanding stuff. Living in close proximity one has to wonder where I should point *my* truck at to have a go at these guys....not that I'd live up to this caliber, but... :D
  20. All very nice.
