A new affair with an old love...

Discussion in 'Lens Lust' started by Uncle Frank, Jul 3, 2007.

  1. I'd better qualify that I'm talking about a lens before a moderator shows up,.

I've been on a prime lens kick for the past 6 months, and have only used my 28-70/2.8 for event work. But since I've gotten into the Strobist movement, I've been carrying an su800 and an sb800 in my little Crumpler day bag, and there aren't many slots in it. So I've been using the 28-70 quite a bit.... and in the process, found why I fell in love with The Beast to begin with :377:.

Here's a selection of shots taken over the past couple of weeks.

    Awesome shots Frank.
  4. Uncle Frank,

I just want to know "what's with the babes?" Nearly every set of shots you post has images of one or two beautiful women (or more). I'm not complaining, you understand. I'm asking for instructions. Is it the 28-70 that brings them in? The su800 and sb800? The D200? What kind of equipment is required?

    Don't answer that last question.

What fun you are having! Keep on doing it! Old guys like you are an inspiration to the rest of us. (LOL)

    God bless.
  5. I don't think the Beast is a babe magnet. I guess I'll have to confess. The idea of photography is to let you see the world through my eyes, and that's what I like to look at  . Here's what I saw on the 4th of July...

Frank, you have only reinforced my decision to recently go with The Beast. Even my wife likes my pictures!
