Lucky you. That is beautiful shot Nancy.
Great looking bird Nancy
Thanks all. Yes, very lucky, I am!! I do think he was looking at who was at the feeders that I have in the yard. Sad to say, but I guess that is the way of the world. But, it is great that he seems to have gotten use to our presence.WOW! That's one beautiful birdie! Lucky you!:wink::biggrin:
Thanks Doug. I always have my camera at the ready. You just do not know what will show up and the 70-300VR is perfect for this, no setting up a tripod and such. Although I must admit I have my tripod with my 300 2.8 and the 1.4tc always setup also:smile:Nancy,
Beautiful catch! Some days all you have to do is look around! So glad your camera was close by so you could share this.
God bless.
Doug
Great catch Nancy
Nice image
Thanks all:smile:! Ok, red-shouldered, thanks. Will change titles now in website. Lou, thats what I worked out in the end about posting, thanks:tongue:.Hey Nancy it looks like you may have an immature red shoulder there and almost to adult stage.
I had trouble posting an image but Gale picked it up and it was the new box that comes up has an http in it already and it does not delete when you paste yours in so no image. Try highlighting the http in the box when it comes up delete it and than paste yours in there.
Lou
Thanks Frank:smile:! And I have changed over to that Lustre paper. Very nice results.Congrats Nancy, this is a very nice capture. I'd be proud that have this image on my wall. Keep up the great shooting.
