A preponderance of pileated have populated my place.

Don't know what's happening this year. Historically we might have one pileated woodpecker come visit in my yard every couple of years. This year it's been one a week.

thanks Dan..For the closeup I left my family room and went out on the porch for another angle. Then found he scampered to a tree closer to my window. Found a clean spot on the window to shoot through.
