The abstract section has been too quiet. I love to shoot abstracts, and you can find them everywhere.
Finally in a hotel room- first time in 1.5years!! Loved the shadows as I was waking up.

Mike, as long as you do forget to look- you are forgiven.
I am never sure why I shoot these. Occasionally one goes up on an easel, until replaced by the next one. Then they live in a drawer.
At some point they will be sold, for $5 a box (including a $10frame) after I go into the final wash (Ansel Adams reference.)
But , we are celebrating my dad's 95th birthday today so hopefully I have time to fill a lot more boxes!!

This is marvelous! Like you, I enjoy looking around at hotels and seeing different things, different photo ops -- and that includes when I'm lying in bed, not having gotten up yet for the day. Somewhere I've got an abstract that I shot in some hotel room because I liked the shadow play of the morning light shining through the large window and nearby window blinds on the ceiling above the bed.
