A Scottish Icon

    I dug up this image from the small collection of digital shots I brought with me to NZ.

    There was a small herd of deer just off the roadside and although I've encountered deer in the Highlands often enough, I actually happened to have a camera with me for a change.

    Unfortunately not - they seem to have an uncanny instinct of looking away as soon as you raise a camera :(
