Hi fellas,

The mating season of dalmatian pelicans is almost over, so I prepared the latest images for you. I appreciate you feedback! Captured with 7D and 400/2.8

Additionally I finally managed to realize the new personal project, you could check it too: http://birdsphotographer.com/

Great series! So many great expressions, actions, and bad hair days (especially #2 and 3!). Well done!

These are all terrific, numbers 2 & 6 are my favorites. AMAZINGLY sharp/clear.

@Riki: yes, I have the same question - but I've been seeing Canon posts on here since I joined the Cafe; it's just quirky that way. :)

As mentioned, all terrific images. How were you shooting so low to the water (kayak)?

Riki and Sarah: the only prerequisite to posting at the NikonCafe is a love of photography. We welcome all shooters.

Thanks for the feedback and welcoming :)
photolizard, this particular image is captured with 2x II extender.

I still have a two-day-pelicans shooting but the images are not processed yet, since I concentrate my time on updating photos on the new site. The last time the light was amazing, the water and air becomes one.

All images are taken with the lens directly placed on the ground and some photos with the lens attached to recently bought Skimmer Ground Pod II. Here is a photo with the pod :)

A friend of mine (nikon user) recommended me this site. I didn't know that there is a canon no-go policy? Shall I post more images here in the future taken with my canon or it's all about Nikon photos forum?

Nikolay, there is no ban on Canon shooters. We always welcome photos as wonderful as yours! Most of us in this section of the Cafe love birds and especially like to see ones that we don't get to see every day. Please keep posting.
