The colors of nature are fantastic and amazing

  8. I've seen wood ducks. Never seen mandarins. Wow!

  9. Hi Ben,

The Wood Ducks are thin on the vine, and no Mandarins to be seen. Birds in the Valley and surrounding areas are pretty thin altogether right now (odd -- I wonder where they went). That's why I had to put some stuff in from an earlier shoot.

They're not tame, really... some of them do come closer if you don't move much though. I think people have been feeding them.

Here's another shot of a Mandarin, into shadow this time. They're neat ducks, Alex.

    Shot with a D2Hs and 200mm f/2VR at f/2, ISO 400

Great woody shots Ron. Some of my favorites. Those Mandarin shots are also very, very nice.

  11. These are wonderful images, Ron. The colours are fantastic, and you're exposure is great. I think you need to swap names on the fifth shot for ease of viewing.

    Love the Mandarins.

  12. That makes sense... done.
