Drove up to St Augustine for a couple of days- wife wanted to get away to the beach.
Cloudy all day- but wonderful light.
I found a new spot with the light and shadow I like- and waited.
Two birds were actively feeding. A very cooperative snowy, and a skittish tri color.
All in all a good afternoon. Sure beats working.

Perfect timing!

Your thread title reminds me of the time years ago when it snowed on Christmas Eve in a city I think in Texas that is so far south that it rarely gets snow. The next day, which was a Sunday, a minister asked his congregation from the pulpit that if they don't believe in miracles, how do they explain snow in that city on Christmas Eve?

This is adjacent to a walkway, so the background in the corners are old wooden posts.
No masking around the bird, I am on my laptop so can’t do anything delicate with the finger pad. I had to dodge and burn around a little, but nothing precise. These kind of places just find me.
Thanks all
Gary
