A study of Tulips

    I picked up some tulips a couple weeks ago at Target and played around... hope you like!

    2 taken with Tokina 100mm macro:
    NIKON D200    ---    100mm    f/8.0    1/15s    ISO 1600

    2 taken with Nikon 35-70:
    NIKON D200    ---    35mm    f/2.8    1/200s    ISO 1600

    Nice shots Ann. If your sinuses had cooperated, you could have shot a bunch of these at the Cafe get together. Maybe next year. :wink:

    Very nice shots Ann.
    How long have you had the Tokina 100 and are you happy with it? A local shop tried to sell me one, except I have my heart set on the 105 VR. Just wondered what this lens performed like and if I didn't pass up on a good deal.

    Yep, I wish I could have shot tulips like outside growing! :wink:

    And I've had the Tokina 100 for a little over a year - got it Christmas a year ago. I like it. It's been a sweet lens to use! You can see some more shots with it in my other thread where I was shooting in the backyard:
