Wow, this thread found new life. Thanks for all the comments, everyone. Glad you enjoyed. I'm a southerner so storytelling just comes naturally, I guess. Just the way we talk. I quit hunting in favor or photography and gave up on years of practice telling lies. Photographers aren't nearly as prone to talk about "the one that got away".

Summers are a photographer's heaven for sure. Winters can be too if you're tuffer than me.

Donna, it is truly fishing heaven too if that's what you're into. We boat every other weekend but only fish a couple of times a year to stock the freezer. The dogs do enjoy it so sometimes we'll do a little catch and release for them too.

Roman, the winter got the best of us and we're visiting your neck of the woods. Posting this from Florence. Believe it or not the sun shined all day today...
