A tour of Australia Part 1

Although I am a proud Englishman I have a passion (my friends and colleagues suggest it may be an obsession) for Australia. Below are some images from my visit this April

I started off in Sydney:

Two views of the Sydney Opera house perhaps one of the most recognisable buildings in the World.

A short ferry journey across Sydney Harbour is Manly. Here the lifeguards look on as the bathers enjoy the surf

The world famous Bondi beach, although not too busy on this early autumn day

Arount the point from Bondi is the much smaller beach at Tamorama

Various night shots of Darling Harbour and Circular Quay

I hope these images are of some interest and will post some further installments from the rest of my journey.

Nice set. I think my favourite is Darling Harbour Lights 4. The strong subject, colours and interesting textured reflections just do it for me.
Hope you got to some other locations down here as well Neil and got some nice shots there too?
I did. I have some Melbourne shots that I am processing at the moment. Just got myself a Mac with aperture on so learning as I go.
