A Visit to Flatey Island, Breidafjord, Iceland

Discussion in 'Landscapes, Architecture, and Cityscapes' started by bobhoge, Jun 29, 2007.

  1. The next stop on our adventure was to Flatey Island, one of the 1000+ islands in Breidafjord, at the northwest corner of Iceland.

This small island was once a important trading post and religious center but now it is just a few farms and vacation homes.
