A visit to the Zoo

I had my first photo op at Binder Park Zoo in Battle Creek, Michigan last week.
Although not exactly "Wild" life, it beats a multi-megabucks trip to Africa (which is on my "bucket list, BTW).

nice shots.. I always feel sad for the animals locked up in the zoo.

Yes, it is sad to think that these animals are not in their native homes. However, there are zoos that keep their animals locked up:frown: and there are zoos, like Binder Park which has 433 acres of natural surroundings for the residents to roam. The only barriers were fences to separate the predator and prey. None of the subjects of this post were locked in cages.:smile:
