I had a chance to try another brand, eyeone and after it was finished calibrating my monitor my blues were pretty much purple.

So i decided to take it back and try Spyder3.

To much joy the calibration setup was much easier and really fully automated for a dual screen setup.

It to be honest was a really nice experience after being frustrated with eye-one.

So anyways the kit does cost a bit but to be honest it works well. Heck even my iMac is looking solid after the calibration.

Thanks Sauk, good to know this.

I am using the Spyder Express but thought about an upgrade when it was not working, then lo and behold, it started working when I thought I'd give it one last try.

I'm glad to hear this, I was thinking of buying this but it is awfully expensive but you get what you pay for.

  4. What settings did you use and what panel did you profile.

  5. Looks like I'm having a similar experience with the Eye-One - blues turn out purple

Very encouraging that the Spyder 3 seems to work well!

    Cheers
