a wonderful series of images it would be great..... if you have the time..... to add the street musician images to THIS thread, as well: https://www.nikoncafe.com/vforums/showthread.php?t=169228 thank you
Great shots, all very interesting! I'm jealous of the wealth of subject matter you have all around you. Really nice job!
FRANK! I was there, on Brooklyn Bridge that day!! How did we miss each other?? I took a photo of the marriage couple and the sax player as well!!
Frank, these are great! I just love "daily life" shots like this. Did you have to wait out your subjects (to get them to stop looking at you/the camera) for very long? Or do they mostly just ignore you?
thanks everyone Taylor, I'm sure we walked right by each other, but with the mass of humanity and dodging bicyclists, one is always moving around Gretchen, I prefer them to not be looking at me, so I wait till they aren't I also do alot of " shooting from the hip" let the camera hang, point it their way and fire with my thumb, its hit or miss, but I like the more "candid" look to it
A really wonderful series of images. Looks like you had a good work out too My fav is "under arrest"...I really like the subtle expression one can see in his profile.
thanks Robert was a loooooong walk West 75th down to bridge and then back to Union Square finally succumbed to heat and subwayed back uptown  the arrest shot was quick and from the hip, as I didn't want to be next...LOL
thanks Dez, Larry, ship I think the first couple and the "arrest" shot were from the hip some others didn't make the final cut..LOL
