... with the 70-300 VR and D2X (thanks Doug).

Normally, parking is at the unreasonable price of $8-20/day. For extra-special events, the jack up the price to as much as $100/day. Here's a bit of the truth in advertising: (click on any picture for more information)

There was a pretty good crowd.

There was also a significant police presence.

People of all ages sense the opportunity here.

and McCovey cove is well-staked out for the chance of a really long home run in the right direction.

These major leaguers really have a great incentive program.

I hope you enjoyed this series...
  2. Nice Pics

I walked right by some of those spots the last two days. Did you attend the game? I got a few good shots of the home run derby and the game. I have never posted pics on here yet. I need to figure out how to do it.
  3. Boy, I thought parking at Fenway was bad, it's in the same league now.

That's a great stadium, eh? I went to a game there awhile back and was struck by how the ushers wouldn't let you go to your seat while a batter was up, i.e. until a break in the action.

    Thank you.

I did not attend the game. I work about 2 blocks away from the stadium, so parking was atrocious. Either you drove in early or you somehow got in without your car. On normal game days, they jack up the prices to $25-30. But this was an especially greedy day for parking vendors.

It's a great stadium to be sure, very pretty. I was a bit annoyed when the Dodger players got booed, though. Thanks for sharing the photos!
